Yili Zhang, PhD

Dr. Yili Zhang is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Innovation Center for Biomedical Informatics (ICBI) at Georgetown University. She obtained B.E. at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and completed her Ph.D. in Information Systems at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). After graduation, she spent a wonderful year at Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (NUCATS) as a postdoctoral scholar. Her research interests involve clinical data analysis, cancer informatics, medical data quality, and health toolkit development by adopting machine learning and statistical methods. With a background in both quantitative and qualitative research, she hopes to apply her research to improve health care outcomes.
