Our Impact

The purpose of the ICBI is to conduct cutting-edge informatics research to help enable and advance scientific goals (research and teaching) of relevance to Georgetown University Medical Center, particularly as it pertains to large, multi-investigator grant opportunities and consortia. We partner with numerous external collaborators to enhance our research capabilities and provide a broader impact within the community.

We are excited about the myriad of opportunities to do science that intersects bench and clinical research and believe the burgeoning field of biomedical informatics will impact the future of healthcare via discoveries in personalized medicine.
